about

I first met Rubén at the Piping Live festival in Glasgow and we kept in touch when I moved to Extremadura, Spain. I really wanted to record a set of Asturian tunes with him and we sourced these three tunes together. The second tune is a version of a traditional tune by Luis González Alonso. This set is named after a late night of tunes at the Cáceres Irish Fleadh where he and Leti kindly introduced me to licor de cáfe... Gracies Rubén y Leti!
